Regular Season Round 18: Halc.Xalapa - Pioneros 82-70

The most important game in the last round took place in Xalapa between second ranked Pioneros (11-5) and tenth ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (6-5) on Saturday night. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Stephen Soriano (201-84, college: Colorado Mesa) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Hector Hernandez (206-85, college: Fresno St.) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Halcones UV Xalapa maintains tenth position with 6-5 record. Pioneros at the other side dropped to the third place with five games lost. Halcones UV Xalapa are looking forward to face Correcaminos (#13) in Ciudad Victoria in the next round. Pioneros will play at home against Angeles (#11) and are hoping to win this game.
