Regular Season Round 9: MCKiS Jaworz. - Start Lublin 55-76

There was no surprise in Jaworzno where 11th ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (2-7) was crushed by ninth ranked Start Lublin (5-4) 76-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Start Lublin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by MCKiS Jaworz.'s players. The best player for the winners was Pawel Kowalski (197-83) who scored 20 points. Power forward Marcel Wilczek (204-86, agency: Promotex) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Start Lublin players scored in double figures. Start Lublin's coach Dominik Derwisz felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was center Patryk Nowerski (205-91) who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds and Patryk Przyborowski (195-90, agency: Promotex) added 16 points respectively. Start Lublin moved-up to sixth place, which they share with WKK Wroclaw. Newly promoted MCKiS Jaworz. dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. Start Lublin will face league's leader MOSiR Krosno at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MCKiS Jaworz. will play against WKK Wroclaw (#7) and hope to win that game.
