The former international guard Hiromi Iwamura (168-81) came up with 16 points and forward Nana Kondo (177-88) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Niigata in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for JX Sunflowers. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Chanson V-M. Niigata lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh place with three games lost. JX Sunflowers will have a break next round. Niigata will play again at home against the league's second-placed JX Sunflowers (#2) and hope to win that game.
