Regular Season Round 8: Rosa II Radom - MKS Skierniew. 95-60

There was a minor upset when 5th ranked MKS Skierniew. (5-2) was smashed on the road by eighth ranked Rosa II Radom (4-3) 95-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Rosa II Radom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rosa II Radom forced 23 MKS Skierniew. turnovers and outrebounded them 43-21 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Lukasz Sobuta (209-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Filip Zegzula (186-94) contributed with 20 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Four Rosa II Radom players scored in double figures. Coach Karol Gutkowski's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) replied with 10 points and Arkadiusz Kobus (195-86, agency: Promotex) added 13 points in the effort for MKS Skierniew.Rosa II Radom moved-up to sixth place in Group C. Loser MKS Skierniew. dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Rosa II Radom will face Wisla Krakow (#10) on the road in the next round. MKS Skierniew. will play against Ostrow Mazow. (#12) and hope to win that game.
