Regular Season Round 6: Brunell - UL Huskies 75-85

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Brunell (4-1) in Cork on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by UL Huskies (5-0) 85-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Brunell. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 4-0 record before this meeting. Brunell at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with DCU Mercy. UL Huskies will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brunell will play on the road against DCU Mercy in Dublin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
