The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Guandong Tigers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Guandong Tigers defeated 4th ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank in Dongguan 90-85. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 30-23 Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 90-85 at the end of the game. Guandong Tigers forced 20 Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank turnovers. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will play next round against Foshan trying to get back on the winning streak.
