Important game to mention about took place in Casale. Seventh ranked Lighthouse TR (6-3) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 13th ranked Novipiu Casale (2-7) 62-60 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Novipiu Casale won fourth quarter 20-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard Robert Lowery (188-87, college: Dayton) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and power forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Lighthouse TR players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Kevin Dillard (183-89, college: Dayton) with 17 points and the other American import David Jackson (193-86, college: W.Illinois) scored 15 points. Lighthouse TR have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Novipiu Casale dropped to the fourteenth position with seven games lost. Lighthouse TR will face FCM Ferentino (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Novipiu Casale will play against the league's leader C.de Latte BRE (#1) in Brescia and hope to win that game.
