Regular Season Round 9: FCM Ferentino - C.de Latte BRE 72-74

A very interesting game took place in Ferentino. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 10th ranked FCM Ferentino (3-6) to fourth ranked C.de Latte BRE (7-2) 74-72 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of FCM Ferentino. FCM Ferentino was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 25-13 third quarter run of C.de Latte BRE. It was a great shooting night for C.de Latte BRE especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. It was a good game for the former international point guard Robert Fultz (189-82, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 5 assists. American swingman J.R. Giddens (196-85, college: N.Mexico) contributed with 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Simone Pierich (200-81) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for FCM Ferentino. Four FCM Ferentino players scored in double figures. C.de Latte BRE keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Sigma BRC and Trento. FCM Ferentino at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost. C.de Latte BRE's next round opponent will be Novipiu Casale (#15) at home which should be an easy win for them. FCM Ferentino will play against Lighthouse TR (#5) in Trapani and hope to win that game.
