Very predictable result in Urumqi where sixth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (5-2) smashed 15th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (1-6) 109-80 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Xinjiang Flying Tige outrebounded Jiangsu Dragons 45-28 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) helped adding 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Xinjiang Flying Tige's coach WanJun Cui felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American forward Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta St.) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Xinjiang Flying Tige moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Liaoning H. Jiangsu Dragons lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with six games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will face Bayi Rockets (#13) in Ningbo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jiangsu Dragons will play on the road against Shanxi Zhongyu in Taiyuan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
