Guard Candice Wiggins (180-87, college: Stanford) contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Maccabi Ashdod players scored in double figures. Maccabi Ashdod's coach Eliyahu Rabi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Christine Flores (190-90, college: Missouri) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Amanda Houts (168-87, college: Georgia, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 12 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Elitzur Netanya. Maccabi Ashdod moved-up to second place. Elitzur Netanya lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Maccabi Ashdod will have a break next round. Elitzur Netanya will play on the road against Maccabi Ramat Hen (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
