Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Orchesien BC (5-11) was outscored on the road by fifth ranked ALM Evreux (10-6) 87-52 on Friday. The game without a history. ALM Evreux led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Orchesien BC's 34. ALM Evreux forced 19 Orchesien BC turnovers. It was a very good performance for swingman Pierre-Etienne Drouault (196-90) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Samme Givens (198-89, college: Drexel) contributed with 7 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Serbian Djordje Petrovic (203-84) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and American guard DeJuan Wright (190-88, college: FIU, agency: Court Side) added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Orchesien BC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ALM Evreux moved-up to third place, which they share with Le Portel. Newly promoted Orchesien BC dropped to the seventeenth position with 11 games lost. ALM Evreux will face league's second-placed Chalons-Reims on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Orchesien BC will play against Hyeres-Toulon (#11) and hope to win that game.
