Regular Season Round 8: DongGuan L. - Fujian QB 119-106

There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Fujian (4-4) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked DongGuan Leopards (4-4) 119-106 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by DongGuan Leopards. Fujian was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. DongGuan Leopards forced 22 Fujian turnovers. Fujian was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 11 assists and forward QuAn Gu (203-92) who added 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American guard Delonte West (192-83, college: St.Joseph's) responded with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. DongGuan Leopards moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Fujian. DongGuan Leopards will have a break next round.
