Regular Season Round 18: Hokkaido L. - Chiba Jets 80-61

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Hokkaido L.'s (9-10) home victory over 5th ranked Chiba Jets (4-15) 80-61 on Saturday. American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: KMG Sports Management) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Jameel Watkins (211-77, college: Georgetown) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Alan Wiggins (206-85, college: USF) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and guard Hiroki Sato (185-82) scored 15 points. Five Hokkaido L. and four Chiba Jets players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hokkaido L. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 9-10 record. Chiba Jets lost fifteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the fifth place with 15 games lost. Hokkaido L. will face again Chiba Jets (#5) at home in the next round.
