Regular Season Round 11: Ammerud Bskt - Centrum 80-66

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Oslo: Ammerud Bskt (#1) and Centrum (#7). Ammerud Bskt (8-1) won against visiting Centrum (0-8) 80-66. 25 personal fouls committed by Centrum helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Dag Christensen (201-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Ronald Timus (196-84, college: Morgan St.) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Ammerud Bskt players scored in double figures. Ammerud Bskt's coach Kelvin Woods used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Thomas Ble (185-89) answered with 23 points and 6 steals and forward Jonathan Linnestad (202-95) added 8 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Centrum. Ammerud Bskt have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Centrum at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Ammerud Bskt are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Sverresborg (#8) in Trondheim in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Centrum will play at home against Sverresborg and hopes to get finally their first victory.
