Regular Season Round 9: Guadalajara - Prat 62-57

The game between Top Four teams took place in Guadalajara. Third ranked host CB Guadalajara (6-2) defeated second-best Prat (5-3) 62-57. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Prat. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Prat won third quarter 14-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Prat 36-13 including a 25-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian forward Maximiliano Sole (198-88) nailed 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and forward Javier Salson (199-82, college: Bloomfield) accounted for 14 points. Guard Alex Ros (192-83) came up with 11 points and 4 assists and center Victor Serrano (211-89) added 10 points respectively for Prat in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. CB Guadalajara moved-up to second place. Prat at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Avila and Palma. CB Guadalajara will play against Cambados (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Prat will play against Fontedoso Carrefour (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
