No shocking result in a game when third ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (9-6) edged on the road 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (3-12) 67-66 on Saturday. Bambitious Nara was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American players dominated also this game. Power forward Cyrus Tate (203-85, college: Iowa) saved the victory by scoring 12 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Jermaine Dixon (191-87, college: Pittsburgh) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Hamamatsu Phoenix's coach Tomoya Higashino used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Adrian Moss (203-81, college: Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Bambitious Nara. Five Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Hamamatsu Phoenix moved-up to second place, which they share with Oita H.Devils and Kyoto Hannar. Loser Bambitious Nara keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Hamamatsu Phoenix will have a break next round.
