Regular Season Round 18: Kumamoto V. - Hyogo S. 83-86 OT

Kumamoto V. (#6) forced the game against Hyogo S. (#5) into an overtime, but lost by three points 83-86 on Saturday night. The game took place in Kumamoto. But the guests from Hyogo were better at the end. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 17-14 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 3-point victory in overtime. Hyogo S. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kumamoto V.'s 30. Americans were the main players on the court. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Hyogo S. maintains fifth position with 4-13 record. Kumamoto V. lost sixth consecutive game. Kumamoto V. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth place with 16 games lost. Hyogo S. will have a break next round. Kumamoto V. will play again at home against Hyogo S. (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
