Boras II (#6) forced the game against Trelleborg (#4) into an overtime, but lost by seven points 103-110 on Saturday night. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-18. But Boras II won third quarter 31-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Boras II used huge pressure winning it 17-15 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 12-19. Trelleborg forced 19 Boras II turnovers. Boras II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Anis Ben Hamida (195-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Trelleborg's coach Ali Lou used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Hajzer Ismaili (202-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Adam Andersson (187-91) added 22 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Boras II. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Trelleborg have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Trelleborg maintains fourth place with 6-4 record. Boras II lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Trelleborg will have a break next round. Boras II will play at home against Eskilstuna (#9) and hope to win that game.
