Very important is a road loss of third ranked Al Jaysh (5-4) against sixth ranked Al Khor (5-4) on Saturday night. Visiting Al Jaysh was defeated by Al Khor in Al Khor 83-67. American guard Jamarr Hardy (191-83, college: Lenoir CC) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 8 steals for the winning side and Senegalese forward Moustapha Niang (206-83) accounted for 21 points. Hardy is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Al Khor players scored in double figures. American forward Shawn Taggart (207-85, college: Memphis) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Devan Downey (175-87, college: S.Carolina) added 17 points and 5 steals respectively for Al Jaysh in the defeat. Al Khor moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Al Jaysh.
