The game in Iwate supposed to be also worth to mention about. 4th placed Shinshu BW (8-5) played at the court of fifth ranked Iwate Big Bulls (8-5). Iwate Big Bulls smashed Shinshu BW 97-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Shinshu BW. The game without a history. Iwate Big Bulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded Shinshu BW 47-31 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Court Side) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Iwate Big Bulls players scored in double figures. Forward Patrick Sanders (198-85, college: Cal-Irvine) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Iwate Big Bulls moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Shinshu BW. Iwate Big Bulls' next round opponent will be again Shinshu BW (#5) in Nagano.
