Regular Season Round 19: Sanda - Malbas 62-70

Date: November 30, 2013
Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Sanda Basket (0-9) lost to leader Malbas (10-0) in Huskvarna 62-70 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 25-23. But Sanda Basket won second period 10-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Malbas forced 20 Sanda Basket turnovers. It was a very good performance for forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Forward Sebastian Persson (203-89) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Alexander Russom (191-95) answered with 15 points and 5 assists and guard Albin Eriksson (189-96) added 15 points in the effort for Sanda Basket. Sanda Basket's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Malbas have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Sanda Basket at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
