Very important is a road loss of second ranked JA Vichy (8-3) against twelfth ranked Sorgues BC (6-5) on Saturday night. Visiting JA Vichy was crushed by Sorgues BC in Sorgues 82-61. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of JA Vichy. The game without a history. Sorgues BC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for guard Damir Karaibrahimovic (188-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 assists. Liberian-American Pele Paelay (193-84, college: Co.Carolina, agency: Two Points) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Octavio Da Silveira (204-89) scored 11 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sorgues BC moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. JA Vichy at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with St Chamond. Sorgues BC will play against higher ranked JSA Bordeaux (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JA Vichy will play against Saint Chamond and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
