Very expected game when 7th ranked Arras (4-6) was smashed at home by second ranked Lattes Montpellier (9-1) 81-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. Lattes Montpellier led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Lattes Montpellier forced 22 Arras turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for the former international forward Geraldine Robert (183-80) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. International guard Gaelle Skrela (177-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Lattes Montpellier players scored in double figures. International guard Anael Lardy (170-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) replied with 6 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Floriane Herrscher (187-84) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Arras. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lattes Montpellier have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bourges and Villeneuve. Arras lost third consecutive game.
