Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Ancona and 5th ranked Team Crema had identical 2-4 record. This time Ancona used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Crema 68-62 on Sunday night. Team Crema trailed by 14 points at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 23-12 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 62-68 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Ancona especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Francesca Redolf (184-86) who scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Spanish center Monica Garrido (185-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds. Four Ancona players scored in double figures.
