Regular Season Round 7: Kronos AD - Ippokratis 55-73

Bottom-ranked Kronos AD is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fourth ranked Ippokratis (6-2) 73-55 on Sunday evening. The game without a history. Ippokratis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ippokratis forced 21 Kronos AD turnovers and outrebounded them 36-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Niveen Rasheed (183-91, college: Princeton) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Zoi Kechagia (170-79) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Katherine Harry (190, college: De Paul) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Maria Michou (182-83) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Kronos AD in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Ippokratis maintains fourth place with 6-2 record. Kronos AD lost their seventh game in a row. They still closes the standings with seven games lost. Ippokratis will meet at home Ikaros (#6) in the next round. Kronos AD will play against Aris (#9) in Thessaloniki and hopes to get finally their first victory.
