Regular Season Round 10: Wilki Morskie - MKS DG 66-68

1Liga round 10 most important game was a victory of MKS DG over 5th ranked Wilki Morskie 68-66 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Wilki Morskie. Wilki Morskie was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 14-10 charge of MKS DG, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Wilki Morskie turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Michal Woloszyn (201-84) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds. Pawel Zmarlak (195-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four MKS DG players scored in double figures. Radoslaw Bojko (196-91) replied with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and power forward Pawel Kowalczuk (207-80, college: St.Francis, NY, agency: Promotex) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Wilki Morskie. Wilki Morskie's coach Marek Zukowski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MKS DG (7-3) moved-up to third place, which they share with Kutno. Wilki Morskie at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with WKK Wroclaw. MKS DG is looking forward to face MCKiS Jaworz. (#12) in Jaworzno in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wilki Morskie will play on the road against Stal Ostrow (#9) in Ostrow Wlkp. and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
