Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Aomori Watts and 7th ranked Yokohama BC had identical 7-8 record. This time Aomori Watts used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Yokohama 74-65 on Sunday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-20. But Yokohama BC won second period 12-6. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aomori Watts (8-8) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Fukuoka Rizing and Shiga L-Stars. Loser Yokohama BC keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Aomori Watts will face Sendai 89ers (#8) on the road in the next round. Yokohama BC will play against Takamatsu FA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
