Maccabi Haifa was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 41-34 second half run of Galil Gilboa. Galil Gilboa moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Bnei Hertzeliyya and Netanya. Defending champion Maccabi Haifa still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Ironi Nes-Ziona and Hapoel J-M. Galil Gilboa will play against bottom-ranked Maccabi Ashdod (#12) at home in the next round. Maccabi Haifa will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
