Regular Season Round 10: Den Bosch - M.Magixx 86-69

The most important game in the last round took place in Den Bosch between third ranked M.Magixx (8-4) and fifth ranked Den Bosch (8-4) on Sunday night. M.Magixx was defeated by Den Bosch on the road 86-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of M.Magixx. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. M.Magixx managed to win fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Den Bosch especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by M.Magixx's players. The former international center Marcel Aarts (213-83, agency: R.H.Consultancy) fired 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Den Bosch's coach Samuel Jones used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Indian-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (198-87) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Thijs Vermeulen (194-85) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Den Bosch moved-up to third place, which they share with Leiden and M.Magixx. Den Bosch will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. M.Magixx will play at home against Rotterdam and is hoping to win this game.
