Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Muggia (5-2) outscored at home bottom-ranked Alghero (0-7) 71-45 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Muggia. Alghero was better in third quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Annalisa Borroni (183-83) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Elena Capolicchio (169-92) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds.
