Regular Season Round 8: JX Sunflowers - Toyota B SR 86-65

Undefeated leader JX Sunflowers delivered the eighth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Toyota B SR (2-6) 86-65 in Kashiwa. The game was mostly controlled by JX Sunflowers. Toyota B SR was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Toyota B SR to just 6 points in first quarter. JX Sunflowers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota B SR's 20 and made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Toyota B SR 50-26 including a 36-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. JX Sunflowers brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks.
