Regular Season Round 11: Prinemanye - Svisloch 64-89

The game in Grodno supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Svisloch (8-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Prinemanye (3-8). Svisloch smashed Prinemanye 89-64 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Svisloch. Prinemanye managed to win second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svisloch had a 37-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Slovenian point guard Marcel Mihalic (185-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 5 assists. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) helped adding 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Svisloch players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Power forward Pavel Karasevich (201-89) responded with 17 points and point guard Gennadij Usovich (185-90) scored 7 points. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Svisloch. They maintain third place with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader Grodno-93. Prinemanye lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Svisloch will meet at home Impuls BGUIR (#4) in the next round. Prinemanye will play against Borisfen in Mogilev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
