Very expected game when 13th ranked Saint Vallier (7-10) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Aix-Maurienne (10-7) 82-66. The game was mostly controlled by Aix-Maurienne. Saint Vallier was better in fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American Dar Tucker (193-88, college: De Paul) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import power forward Erroyl Bing (198-82, college: E.Carolina) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Philippe Haquet (200-86) answered with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Jared Newson (195-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Pro One Sports) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Saint Vallier.
