Everything could happen in Jinan at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Shandong Bulls and 7th ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank had identical 6-3 record. This time Shandong Bulls used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Hangzhou 100-79 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Shandong Bulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Shandong Bulls outrebounded Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank 50-33 including a 42-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. American-Ukrainian point guard Pooh Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) fired 23 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds. Four Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. American guard Jerel McNeal (191-87, college: Marquette) produced 26 points and his fellow American import power forward Ivan Johnson (203-84, college: CS San Bernar.) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shandong Bulls have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 7-3 record, which they share with Xinjiang FT. Loser Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. Shandong Bulls will face TianJin Steel (#13) in Tianjin in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will play at home against Sichuan BW (#16) and hope to win that game.
