Regular Season Round 9: Keflavik - Grindavik 77-63

The game between Top Four teams took place in Keflavik. Second ranked host Keflavik (8-1) defeated 3rd placed Grindavik (6-3) 77-63. The best for the losing side was American-Dominican guard Lewis Clinch (191-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: KMG Sports Management) with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Olafur Olafsson (194-90) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Keflavik maintains second place with 8-1 record behind leader KR. Defending champion Grindavik keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with Njardvik. Keflavik are looking forward to face IR (#10) in Reykjavik in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Grindavik will play at home against Thor Thorl (#7) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
