Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Lobe Huesca (6-4) rolled over at home 11th ranked Lleida Basquet (3-7) 78-59. The game was mostly controlled by Lobe Huesca. Lleida Basquet was better in third quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Jorge Romero (193-90) fired 24 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Lithuanian forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) chipped in 16 points. The former international power forward Alfonso Alzamora (206-79) produced 8 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Terrell Vinson (201-90, college: Massachusetts) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
