The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked DongGuan Leopards' (5-5) road loss to seventh ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (7-3) 86-99 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 62-44 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) fired 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Xinjiang Flying Tige moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Shandong FB. Loser DongGuan Leopards keep the eighth position with five games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will face league's leader Guandong Tigers in Dongguan in the next round and it may be the game of the week. DongGuan Leopards will play on the road against Shanxi Zhongyu (#18) in Taiyuan and hope to win that game.
