Leader Toshiba Thunders delivered the nineteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Kumamoto V. (4-17) 109-81. The game without a history. Toshiba Thunders led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Kumamoto V.'s players. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and guard Cedric Bozeman (198-83, college: UCLA) who added 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) during the contest. Five Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. Forward DeVaughn Washington (202-89, college: Ohio, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and guard Lamont Jones (183, college: Iona) scored 20 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toshiba Thunders (19-2) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Newly promoted Kumamoto V. keeps the sixth place with 17 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kumamoto V. will play again against the league's leader Toshiba Thunders (#1) and hope to secure a win.
