Liga Endesa top team - Real Madrid (9-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked CB Canarias (4-5) in Tenerife 85-74. The game was mostly controlled by Real Madrid. CB Canarias managed to win third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Sergio Rodriguez (191-86) who scored 21 points and 6 assists. Naturalized Montenegrin power forward Nikola Mirotic (207-91) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Real Madrid's coach Pablo Laso used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
