There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked P.Mantovana (5-6) edged on the road 3rd placed Omegna (6-5) 74-72 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-72. The best player for the winners was naturalized American guard Mike Nardi (186-85, college: Villanova) who scored 14 points and 6 assists. American power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-88, college: S.Carolina, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four P.Mantovana players scored in double figures. P.Mantovana's coach Alberto Morea used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
