Very predictable result in Dabrowa Gornicza where third ranked MKS DG (8-3) smashed 12th ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (2-9) 76-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. MKS DG led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 MCKiS Jaworz. turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Michal Woloszyn (201-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Forward Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-84, agency: Promotex) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Damian Janiak (195-89) responded with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and center Lukasz Kwiatkowski (207-79) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for MKS DG. They maintain third place with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader MOSiR Krosno, which they share with Kutno. MCKiS Jaworz. lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. MKS DG will face WKK Wroclaw (#7) on the road in the next round. MCKiS Jaworz. will play against Stal Ostrow (#8) and hope to win that game.
