Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Weert (0-14) was outscored at home by third ranked Groningen (11-2) 72-49 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-49. Groningen outrebounded Weert 39-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
