The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked IK Eos' (3-6) road loss to sixth ranked Mark Basket (4-4) 63-91 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Mark Basket. IK Eos managed to win third quarter 21-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. Mark Basket forced 21 IK Eos turnovers and had a 26-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Mark Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. It was a great evening for American guard Taneisha Harrison (182-89, college: Pittsburgh) who led her team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists. Bosnian guard Rada Vidovic (177-79) helped adding 13 points and 6 assists. Five Mark Basket players scored in double figures. Center Louise Angel (190-91) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Danish point guard Anna Seilund (174-93) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mark Basket maintains sixth place with 4-4 record. IK Eos lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. Mark Basket will meet at home higher ranked Telge (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. IK Eos will play against the league's second-placed Sallen in Uppsala and hope to secure a win.
