There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Cagliari CUS (4-5) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Orvieto (4-5) 81-71. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. It was a good game for American swingman Darxia Morris (172-89, college: UCLA, agency: Merit Management Group) who led her team to a victory with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import forward Aishah Sutherland (187-90, college: Kansas, agency: Two Points) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. American forward Adrienne Johnson (182-89, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian point guard Tamara Radocaj (170-87, agency: Interperformances) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Cagliari CUS.
