Regular Season Round 11: Fujian QB - Liaoning H. 104-94

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Liaoning Hunters (6-5) lost to twelfth ranked Fujian (6-5) in Jinjiang 94-104 on Sunday. Liaoning Hunters were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American guard Delonte West (192-83, college: St.Joseph's) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) contributed with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Fujian players scored in double figures. American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) answered with 48 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and international center Dejun Han (215-89) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Liaoning Hunters. Fujian moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Liaoning Hunters. Liaoning Hunters lost third consecutive game. Fujian will face Jilin Tigers (#15) in Changchun in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
