Rather expected game when 8th ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (2-5) lost on the road to fifth ranked Ramat Hasharon (4-3) 81-70. Ramat Hasharon forced 20 Bnot Hertzeliya turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Shamela Hampton (191-87, college: UNLV) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Tierra Ruffin-Pratt (178-91, college: N.Carolina) who added 19 points, 9 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Siera Braverd responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and American guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St.) scored 16 points and 6 assists. Four Bnot Hertzeliya players scored in double figures. Ramat Hasharon moved-up to third place, which they share with Elitzur Holon. Bnot Hertzeliya lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with H.R. Le-Zion. Ramat Hasharon will play against Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#7) on the road in the next round.
