Regular Season Round 12: Fujian QB - Jilin NE T. 119-110

Very expected game in Jinjiang where 15th ranked Jilin Tigers (3-9) were defeated by tenth ranked Fujian (7-5) 119-110 on Wednesday. Jilin Tigers trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 38-31 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 110-119 at the end of the game. Fujian dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Jilin Tigers' 62 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Delonte West (192-83, college: St.Joseph's) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) who added 29 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Leon Rodgers (201-80, college: N.Illinois) with 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and power forward Denzel Bowles (208-89, college: JMU) scored 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fujian have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Jilin Tigers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Fujian will face higher ranked Shandong Bulls (#5) in Jinan in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jilin Tigers will play on the road against Shanghai Sharks (#4) and hope to win that game.
