Basketligan top team - Boras Basket (15-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Uppsala Basket (8-9) 100-88. The game was mostly controlled by Boras Basket. Uppsala Basket was better in third quarter 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Boras Basket made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Uppsala Basket outrebounded Boras Basket 43-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side American-British Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Uppsala Basket's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Boras Basket have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-0 record. Uppsala Basket lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. Boras Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Uppsala Basket will play at home against Sundsvall Dragons (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
