Four KR players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Chris Woods (195-89, college: Pfeiffer) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and center Birgir Petursson (205-86) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KR (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Valur lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. KR will meet at home Haukar (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Valur will play against KFI (#9) in Isafjordur and hope to win that game.
