Everything could happen in San Fernando at the game between two tied teams. Both first ranked Tinguiririca S.F. and second-best Boston College had identical 6-2 record. This time Tinguiririca S.F. used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Santiago 85-69 on Friday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-69. Tinguiririca S.F. outrebounded Boston College 43-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. Boston College at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Tinguiririca S.F. will face again league's second-placed Boston College in Santiago in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
